RISE Augusta Executive Director, Laurie Cook, recently sat down with Channel 6’s Jennie & STRIVE Director Angela Prince.


”Literacy is a big concern in Richmond County, as studies show children growing up in poverty -start- school with such a disadvantage when it comes to reading, compared to children who aren’t living in poverty. STRIVE is a unique program to help young people, ages 17-22, enter the workforce in areas where they will be interested and engaged.”
