Thank you, Amazon, for helping our children RISE!

What a surprise and what a wonderful way to start the school year!

Jennifer McKeon and the Reliability, Maintenance and Engineering Team at Amazon’s AGS1 recently arrived at RISE Augusta with 100 stuffed backpacks for local students who may not have everything they need to be successful at school.

Jennifer, who serves as the POC for RME Community Events at Amazon, was joined by Emily, Quincy, George, Chris and Angel to make the special delivery.

For a child, a new backpack filled with school supplies is about much more than pencils and paper. It means walking into the classroom prepared, feeling confident, and knowing that someone in the community is cheering you on.

We are incredibly grateful to Jennifer and the entire Amazon RME team for thinking of our children, and for turning 100 backpacks into 100 reminders that our students are supported and cared for.
