FREE After-School Literacy Tutoring

RISE Augusta offers free after-school literacy tutoring for students in kindergarten through third grade who need additional support in reading.

Tutoring begins in September and continues throughout the school year at the RISE Augusta offices in the HUB for Community Innovation, located at 631 Chafee Avenue, Augusta, GA 30904.

Students receive one hour of individualized tutoring, typically twice each week, between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

Space is limited, and sessions fill quickly, so we encourage families to apply as soon as possible.

Please Note: This program is designed for students who can benefit from small- group literacy intervention. At this time, children whose primary educational needs require specialized services through an Individualized Education Program (IEP) are not eligible for this program.
